Anamorphic
EXPO2020
The commissioned sculpture was created for the groundbreaking of the EXPO2020 metro station in Dubai.
Similarly as with the Emulsifier sculpture, a hidden EXPO2020 logo appears every 90° angle when the anamorphic piece is rotated. For this nearly 1000 hand-painted and hand-cut glass fragments are spread over 100 blank glass strips. The glass fragments were created with similar techniques used for traditional stained glass windows.
