Restoration
Chapel Sterzing
The neo-Gothic windows were probably made around 1870 in the early phase of the Tiroler Glasmalerei Company and are characterised by detailed floral and figurative painting. The leaded glass showed severe damage. Sagging window areas, torn clasps, damaged lead rods, a large number of broken pieces of glass, some of which had missing parts, improperly repaired areas as well as dirt deposits on the outside made a comprehensive restoration urgently necessary.
